As time went on, Prabumi continued its journey by learning new elements, instruments, and local and global sounds. This movement continues with the dream of making songs for the whole world, starting from Indonesia, to Southeast Asia, Asia, Europe, America, South America, Africa, and finally for the whole world. Prabumi tries to explore traditional and futuristic musical instruments from various regions and countries. Studying musical instruments is also one of the ways of learning the diversity of cultures, rituals, philosophies, and ideologies of an area, which certainly become the unlimited source of knowledge and inspiration.

Akar is an album that grows towards the earth’s core. Prabumi reflects it on its tone, in the mix of electronic, instrumental, traditional and futuristic. In the album Akar, Prabumi combines several instruments, rituals, and natural sounds with the special Prabumi characteristics who are inspired by the various stories in Nusantara and the world, a variety of ideologies and philosophies that are passed down through word of mouth (unwritten).
